RJN Group Inc. has been named a Zweig Group Best Firms To Work For. This recognition is a culmination of effort . by all of our employees—from Denver, to Houston, to Baltimore.

RJN Vice President of Human Resources Gary Wendel said that he was very proud of RJN’s employee-owners for the part they each play in creating an award-winning work environment.

“Our employees are also our owners,” Wendel said. “Through this ownership structure, with the support of forward-thinking management, we have been able to build a culture that emphasizes individual contributions, promotes growth and development, and awards impact and innovation.”

"Our people are incredibly passionate about what they do and that passion is directly related to RJN being recognized as a phenomenal place to work," he added.

According to a press release from Zweig Group—a Fayetteville, Arkansas research, publishing, and advisory services firm for the architecture, engineering and construction industry—firms who receive the award have “created an environment where their people feel valued, can make a difference, and can clearly see where their contribution fits into the overall mission and success of the firm.”

To be selected as a Best Firms To Work For company, employees must first complete a survey. The results of which are then analyzed across numerous categories, including culture, workplace practices, benefits, retention rates and professional development.

“Being named as a national Best Firm To Work For is a powerful statement,” said Zweig Group CEO Chad Clinehens. “With recruiting and retention being the number one challenge for AEC firms, this award provides a great platform to promote culture and employee experience, offering these firms a strong competitive advantage.”

No stranger to the spotlight, RJN has also been recognized as an industry leader many times: Engineering News Record, Top 200 Environmental Firm; Engineering News Record, Top 500 Design Firm; and 19th in Trenchless Technology’s list of Top 50 Trenchless Design Firms.
