With its population growing, the City of Jenks was looking for a cost-effective, reliable solution to managing its collection system for future growth. RJN was selected to assist the City with updating its current master plan that had been authored in 1998. The collection system—110 miles of sewer and 27 lift stations—needed a current plan to address future development needs and provide a basis for long-term capital planning. Master planning involved flow monitoring, lift station evaluation training, development of future flow, development and calibration of a hydraulic model, and capacity alternative analysis to develop recommendations for a 30-year planning period.
