Wheaton, Ill., July 13, 2016 – The July 2016 issue of the APWA Reporter includes a profile of RJN’s West Park Wet-Weather Storage Facility. Read the magazine’s coverage of RJN’s award-winning project here.
The APWA Reporter is the official magazine of the American Public Works Association. This magazine covers all issues concerning public works. Each year, the APWA presents Public Works Projects of the Year. This year, the APWA acknowledged the West Park Wet-Weather Storage Facility in Wilmette, Illinois, as one of the SMALL CITIES/RURAL COMMUNITIES Projects of the Year in the STRUCTURES category.
RJN Group, Inc. and Boller Construction Company worked together on this design-build project, designing and constructing a 5.5 million gallon storage tank that provides necessary collection system capacity during wet-weather events.
The unique and environmentally-friendly system saves money, improves maintenance capabilities, and enables greater efficiency. This complex project was completed early and under budget.
