ILLINOIS

Project Manager
Wheaton, Illinois office seeks a licensed professional engineer to serve as a Project Manager on municipal civil study, design and construction projects. Experience in municipal transportation, water and sewer design preferred. Responsibilities include client interaction, contract negotiations, invoicing, project tracking and development of project deliverables. Responsibilities also include hiring, direct supervision and performance review responsibilities over project engineers, CAD technicians and field technicians. The position has potential for advancement.

Entry Level Engineers and Engineering Technicians
Wheaton, Illinois office is seeking entry level engineers or engineering technicians. Duties of this position include review and evaluation of field data associated with underground pipeline assessments, engineering analysis related to gravity pipe flow hydraulics and infiltration/inflow analysis, development of spreadsheets and databases, including GIS information, and preparation of reports documenting results of analysis and providing recommendations for repairs and rehabilitation.

MARYLAND

Business Developer
Baltimore, Maryland Office is looking to add a Business Developer. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree or higher in Business or Engineering along with a stable work record with a minimum of 5 years experience. The ideal candidate must possess strong sales experience technical knowledge of engineering, cost estimating, and strong communication skills (both written and oral) including presentations. Candidates must have a proven track record in building and maintaining a solid sales funnel. Professional Engineer license and experience with water and/or wastewater preferred but not required. Local candidates preferred but will consider candidates living in a major metropolitan area with good airline coverage within the designated territory.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities to be performed by the Business Developer include:

  • Developing and implementing strategic sales plans and budgets.
  • Developing key customer relationships.
  • Proactively identifies new business opportunities that match corporate and business unit objectives and capabilities.
  • Aggressively execute sales programs that will result in the successful sales of company services.
  • Cultivate client relationships by identifying opportunities, marketing services, managing client expectations and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Ability to be versatile in leading when required, supporting when requested and to serve as a role model and facilitator of RJN GROUP INC.

Three-plus years of experience preferred in water and wastewater rehabilitation and replacement design, storm/drainage, paving, pump station, and general municipal engineering. Candidates must have a proven track record of successfully executing water, wastewater, storm water, and hydraulic assessment projects. Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Degree in Civil Engineering or other related field with 5-plus years of experience is required. EIT is required, PE preferred.

MISSOURI

Project Engineer
St. Louis, MO office is seeking a Licensed Professional Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in developing engineering studies and leading field work. This position will manage various aspects of a multi-year, Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Survey (SSES) project. Must be good with client relations and developing written reports. Position will be liaison between the field and office activities and coordinate the planning and scheduling of various project phases. Experience in studies and collection system design, GIS and St. Louis MSD requirements is desirable.

Tulsa, Oklahoma office is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Project Engineer to work on municipal engineering projects. Responsibilities include design of water and wastewater pipelines and facilities, wastewater collection system evaluation, roadway design, and other public works projects. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and an Oklahoma P.E. license with five-plus years of experience required. Candidates with AutoCAD or MicroStation experience are preferred.

TEXAS

Project Manager/Project Engineer
Fort Worth, Texas office is seeking candidates to fill a Project Manager/Engineering position for municipal projects, 8-plus years of experience and a Texas P.E. license is required. Candidates with relatively strong experience in water, wastewater, storm, and paving projects are preferred. Must have strong written and oral communications skills.

Project Manager/Project Engineer
Dallas, Texas office is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Engineer to be responsible for field and engineering services to evaluate the hydraulic performance of wastewater collection systems. Candidates must have proven track record of successfully executing flow monitoring and hydraulic assessment projects, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Up to 25% travel is required. Degree in Civil Engineering or other related field with 8-plus years of experience is required.

Project Engineer/EIT
Dallas, Texas office is seeking candidates to fill a Project Engineer/EIT position for municipal projects. Three-plus years of experience preferred in water and wastewater rehabilitation and replacement design, storm/drainage, paving, lift station, pump station, and general municipal engineering. Experience in AutoCAD/MicroStation a plus. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.

CADD Technician
Dallas, Texas office has open positions for AutoCAD/MicroStation technicians. Candidates must be proficient in basic operation of the CADD software and have general background in the civil engineering field. Experience in water/wastewater and other municipal engineering projects a plus.
