Senior Structural Engineer
Assist in the successful development and operation of the SSES and transportation areas of the Engineering department. This position requires a high level of ethical and professional conduct in technical and managerial activities. Must be licensed structural engineer in State of Illinois. Experience with highway bridge design, preferably for the Illinois Department of Transportation or the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority; must be familiar with IDOT policies and procedures. Strong background in the preparation of contract plans and specifications. Working knowledge of Microstation, LRFD bridge design, bridge hydraulics. NBIS inspection certification a plus.
